Mchakamchaka is a morning exercise for elementary school students in Tanzania. This is a fun routine that all students and teachers join together. When I was in elementary school, I liked Mchakamchaka because it made me feel relaxed. Mchakamchaka happens every morning from 6:30 to 7:30.
Students and teachers run together for 2 km while singing songs. You must sing aloud during Mchakamchaka. Running and singing songs with a lot of friends is a unique and memorable experience. After Mchakamchaka, students clean their school from 7:30 to 8 o'clock. Classes start at 8:10. Everyone loves Mchakamchaka because it is so much fun!
