You have many events in Japan, like Children’s Day and Setsubun. We have many events in the UK too! For example, we have Shrove Tuesday in spring. We also call it Pancake Day. On Pancake Day, we can cook and eat many pancakes. What pancake topping do you like? I like strawberries and chocolate sauce.
We have Halloween in autumn. We can wear costumes and eat sweets. It’s fun. We can also watch scary movies. Do you like scary movies?
In Japan, you have fireworks festivals in summer. I like these events. In the UK we have two fireworks events in winter, not summer. We have bonfire night in November. We also have fireworks on New Year's Eve! The fireworks are very beautiful.
