There is a famous celebration called “Isda Festival” or “Fish Festival” every year in June in my hometown. There are many boats made of bamboo and wood. The boats are called “Hapa-hapa”. In my hometown, many people are fishermen and they go out to the sea every day to gather fish in their small boats. They sail across the bay during this celebration. Each boat is decorated with bright colors and flowers. There is food for everyone who wants to join. Anyone can get on the boats during the parade. The boats will go to a church that is inside a cave and next to a beach. They will pray there for safety and good luck.
