When we talk about Christmas, the Philippines is known for having the longest Christmas celebration in the entire world. In my country, Christmas is celebrated more enthusiastically than in Japan. Filipinos start putting up Christmas decorations in September, and the festivities continue until the first Sunday of January the following year. Although the Philippines is a tropical country and does not experience snow, the Christmas season is still beautiful, and you can enjoy the holiday atmosphere and decorations.
There are a lot of exquisite places to visit, but I suggest visiting the Giant Lantern Festival in San Fernando City, Pampanga. It is held in mid-December. Another place to visit is Tangub City in the province of Misamis Occidental, which is known as the Christmas Symbols Capital. I have visited there with my family. The ticket was affordable, making it a great place to visit with family during the holidays.
