Do you have any favorite places in your hometown? My favorite place is Balboa Park in San Diego. Balboa Park is a very large park and it has many museums, gardens, and even a zoo. It is also a very old park. It opened in 1868.
You can enjoy many events every year. The Earth Fair is a famous environmental fair in the U.S. You can also enjoy music festivals, the Pride festival, and more! My favorite event is the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Japanese Friendship Garden. In this garden, you can walk around a traditional Japanese-style garden and learn about many things like bonsai, calligraphy, and the tea ceremony. Please visit there someday!
