Have you seen different types of transportation aside from buses and trains? In the Philippines, there are two unique types of public transportation: jeepneys and tricycles.
Jeepneys are one of the most popular transportation forms. They are smaller than the buses and can only take 24 passengers. Because of their small size, you can't stand up when you get in. However, riding them makes you happy because the decoration on them is beautiful. Look at the picture! Everyone, including students, uses them to commute every day.

The other unique form of transportation is the tricycle. It is a motorbike with a sidecar, and the passengers can sit in it. It can usually take 3 to 8 passengers. I think using it is more fun than a normal bicycle or a jeepney, especially when you ride it with your friends.
We don’t use IC cards in the Philippines; we pay by cash. And we don’t have any stops, especially in the rural parts of the country, so you can get on and off anywhere!
